Geological Risk Management
We plan and implement hazard and risk assessments at regional to local scales, which involves gathering evidence from field investigations, combined with detailed analysis of in-situ monitoring data and remote sensing from ground, aerial and satellite data acquisitions.
We reconstruct past events, and model current and future hazard scenarios. Field monitoring of key parameters is central to constructing a reliable picture of the hazard and risk situation.
Output of our analyses is used to construct hazard and risk information and map products, which are use for town and rural planning, as well as the design of mitigation and prevention measures.
